Tasks before daily departure (operator / owner):

tire pressure, checking the condition of tires
check the lightning system
powertrain (check tension or hanging; drive chain lubrication => 250 km / refueling)
visual examination of the front & rear suspensions/shocks
check the condition of the brake discs & brake pads
feeling of the levers (clutch, brakes, shift pedal,…)
battery condition (difficult to start the motorcycle; visible battery acid deposition / sulphation;…)

Tasks of service:

planned / periodic services – 1000 km – 4000 km – 6000 km and / or every 12 months = 1 year interval:
- oil change (engine, gearbox, differential)
- coolant level check / coolant replacement (approx. every 24 months = every 2 years)
- air filter replacement
- valve clearance check and adjustment/replacement (1000 km – 4000 km – 12000 km – 24000 km – 30000 km)
- spark plug replacement
- carburetor cleaning & synchronization
- throttle body synchronization
- refueling with inappropriate fuel => restore original functionality (diesel is put into the fuel tank instead of gasoline)
- telescopic oil + oil seal change (approx. 20,000 km and / or every 60 months = every 5 years)
- brake pad, brake disc replacement and brake fluid replacement (approx. every 24 months = every 2 years)
- clutch replacement
- belt replacement (drive belt for scooter or timing belt for Desmodromic control)
- wheel bearing replacement
- powertrain set replacement

error detection:
- by examining the customer’s comments, to uncover the error and correct it:
  - there is no power in the engine
  - some liquid is leaking from it – / (clutch fluid), brake fluid, engine oil, (transmission oil), (differential oil), telescope oil, (coolant), gasoline /
  - there is a smell of gasoline or petrol
  - it is difficult or impossible to start the engine
  - a strange sound comes from the engine block when release the clutch
- pre-technical examination (MOT test) so that a failed MOT test can be avoided

big service revision:
- sudden failure rectification
- technical problem arises what requires a solution
- full post-accident inspection and repair offer
- pre-purchase review, so full condition survey
- replacement of parts after that race kilometers / operating hours / number of races on racing engines (increased use) most of the parts are weared so we must be change it
